Phil Heath recently left his sponsor MuscleTech to start his own supplement line called Gifted Nutrition.

Along with the new fat burner SuperLean, Gifted Nutrition is launching alongside three other supplements─ Accelerate, S3 Testosterone Booster, and Ultimate Iso Whey.

Whether you’re looking for a new fat burner to try out, or just curious about Phil Heath’s latest, here’s everything you need to know about SuperLean.

SuperLean Ingredients Scrutinized

Gifted Nutrition Superlean
I was disappointed to see that Gifted Nutrition contained a proprietary blend instead of opting for a transparent label with specific ingredient dosages. You can check out the complete nutrition panel over on the right, but here are a few of the ingredient highlights.

Glucuronolactone: Glucuronolactone is a compound found in a number of energy drinks. Research suggests it’s effective for reducing fatigue and promoting an overall sense of well-being. [1]

Phenthylamine HCL: Phenthylamine can improve mood and enhance feelings of well-being. What’s more, phenthylamine can help reduce anxiety, and boost focus and concentration.

Yohimbe: Yohimbe is an alpha 2-adrenergic antagonist which boosts levels of neurotransmitters like norepinephrine, and mobilizes fatty acids to be used as energy.

Picamilon: Picamilon is a neurotransmitter that the brain converts to GABA, boosting cognitive ability and promoting serenity.

My SuperLean Experience

Even though SuperLean is a pretty cookie-cutter fat burner, I felt like I had good energy and mood support from it. I do wish they would’ve been a little more innovative with the ingredients, however, and included something like 4 amino-2-Methylpentane citrate (AMP Citrate), the replacement for DMAA.

As far as a diet pills go SuperLean worked to suppress my appetite, but I didn’t experience any major thermogenic effect, and have certainly used more powerful fat burners.

SuperLean Price and Availability

Right now SuperLean is only available at Gifted Nutrition’s official website and a handful of online retailers. The price point seems to be set in stone at $49.99 across all retailers. Following the recommended dosage procedure of 2 pills a day, each bottle will last you 30 days.

Most 30-day fat burners cost $30-40, so I’m surprised to see the price point set so high for SuperLean.

Final Word On SuperLean

SuperLean does contain some effective ingredients like yohimbe and phenthylamine to suppress appetite, mobilize fatty acids, and increase mood and promote better overall well-being.
That being said, the $49.99 price tag is too steep for a new product, and I would recommended waiting for the price to drop before trying SuperLean.
