It has suddenly become de rigueur for every supplement company to have a caffeinated amino product. Recently, Labrada Nutrition joined the club with their new Amino Thrust.

When Is The Best Time To Take An Amino Acid Product?

There’s a good chance you already have a preferred pre-workout, leaving just a couple other times when you’ll probably want to use a product like Amino Thrust.

The first is in the morning immediately upon waking, and the other time would most likely be in the afternoon. In other words, caffeinated amino products are essentially a replacement and healthy alternative to coffee.

Taste, Value, and Availability

Amino Thrust is slowly rolling out to online retailers with the average price point for this type of product. A 30 serving container is available at most places for $19.99, or just about over $.65 a serving.

As far as flavors go, it’s only available in tropical punch and watermelon. I thought watermelon was definitely the best out of the two flavors, and it’s absolutely something I wouldn’t mind drinking as an afternoon pick-me-up.

My Experience Using Amino Thrust

Although I used Amino Thrust in the afternoons to help get me through the work day, by far my favorite time to use Amino Thrust was first thing in the morning as part of fasted cardio.

I really like that they put 100 mg of caffeine in here, a solid 200 mg is perfect for first thing in the morning. What’s more, some of the ingredients in here such as beta alanine and glutamine will help you get the most out of your cardio.

Should You Buy Labrada Amino Thrust?

It’s honestly going to come down to brand preference/loyalty with these types of products. The main ingredient is unilaterally taurine for most of them, and about 100 mg or so of caffeine per serving.

As I mentioned above, something like this is great if you’re looking for an alternative to coffee, or just something healthy to give you some extra energy during the day.
