Capsi-Blast Plus is the newest product from ProMera Sports, and they claim it is an effective fat burner and energy booster. I was interested in the product because it sounded familiar to a previous supplement from ProMera called Capsi-Blast.

Turns out I was right; Capsi-Blast Plus is the capsule form of Capsi-Blast, which is a powder.

The company says they created a capsule form for users wanting something more convenient and easier to take. However, an addition ingredient has been added to make the original formula more effective.

I like Capsi-Blast powder, so I was glad to have the chance to look at this newest version.

The Ingredients

A big benefit of the original Capsi-Blas was the simplicity of its ingredient blend. Thankfully, ProMera hasn’t changed what goes inside.

Vitamin B12 – 1000% Daily Value

B vitamins regulate energy product in the body, specifically the breakdown of macronutrients. Vitamin B12 is involved specifically with carbohydrate metabolism, one of the main sources of long-term energy.

Vitamin B12 deficient can lead to lethargy and extended fatigue. Supplementation helps maintain energy levels. [1]

Chromium – 40% Daily Value

Chromium is an essential mineral and is found in many supplements because of its ability to regulate blood sugar and insulin levels. It has been found to improve metabolism and suppress appetite. [2]

Beta-Alanine

Beta alanine is a non-essential amino acid, meaning the body can synthesize it from other compounds.

However, research shows beta alanine supplementation increase carnosine production, which increases muscle ability and recovery. This allows for easier movement and greater caloric output. [3]

Caffeine

Perhaps the most widely-used energy compound in the world, caffeine effectively increases short-term energy levels and staves off fatigue.

While the energy benefits of caffeine are well-known, it also has mild fat-burning properties and improves well-being through hormone regulation. [4]

Evodiamine

Evodiamine is the ingredient ProMera has added to this version of Capsi-Blast. They claim it increases fat burning.

Clinical studies support the company’s claims; individuals taking evodiamine have greater fat-burning ability than those with a placebo.

Evodiamine is unique because it controls the release of certain hormones regulating fat metabolism. This allows for safe, effective increased fat burning through the body’s natural channels instead of stimulation or energy boosts. [5]

BioPerine

BioPerine is the compound that gives pepper its pungency. It improves the effectiveness of other compounds and is a staple in many fat-loss supplements. [6]

Price and Dosage

Because it’s so new, Capsi-Blast Plus is available from a limited number of retailers.

eSupplements is obviously the best price, and they also have a 60-day money-back guarantee in case you aren’t satisfied.

The dosage instructions are to take 2 capsules 15 minutes before training. Each dose is 2 capsules, so a bottle lasts 36 days.

Less than $1/day is a pretty good price for a fat-burner that you can use as a pre-workout.

Pick It Or Pitch It

As I said before, I like the original Capsi-Blast powder. Capsi-Blast Plus is just the original formula in capsule form with an extra effective ingredient. I think it looks great.

The ingredients are simple, backed by studied, and the price is low compared to similar products. I highly recommend Capsi-Blast Plus.
