A good workout pump is like the cowbell in a Blue Oyster Cult song, it’s impossible to get enough of it.

This is one of the reasons stimulant free pump products like RC-Pump from Proccor are among my favorite supplements to review. They can easily be stacked with another pre-workout or intra-workout supplement to maximize nitric oxide production and blood flow.

Ingredient Snapshot

Proccor RC-Pump
One of the things that RC-Pump has going for it right off the bat is a completely transparent ingredient label. There are no proprietary blends, and they’ve done a good job of dosing everything.

Agmatine Sulfate:Agmatine is a highly absorbable arginine derivative which acts as a vasodilator, increasing nitric oxide production for better muscle pumps.[1]

GS4 Plus(Gymnema Sylverstre): GS4 is a patented form of the Ayurvedic herb which helps boost nutrient partitioning and control blood sugar levels, leading to better glycogen storage and energy.[2]

L-Norvaline: Norvaline increases nitric oxide production by inhibiting the arginase enzyme which degrades and breaks down the amino acid arginine.[3]

Grape Seed Extract: Grape seed extract is a powerful antioxidant which keeps cells healthy and improves blood vessel function for better blood flow and circulation.[4]

RC NOS(Rutaecarpine): Rutaecarpine is a compound which has vasorelaxant properties, helping to remove lactic acid from muscle for better strength and endurance.[5]

Bioperine(Black Pepper Extract): Bioperine is a patented black pepper extract which improves nutrient absorption and bioavailability.[6]

My Workouts With RC-Pump

RC Pump
I certainly noticed a difference in my pump with 1 scoop of RC-Pump. I also tried 2 scoops to get the full effect, and tried mixing it with my current pre-workout Oxypump.

With the 1 scoop I had better vascularity, and whether it was chest or arm day, I had a better mind muscle connection and felt a good pump after a light 20 or so warm up set.

So while RC-Pump is effective with one serving, this is a product I would definitely use exclusively to stack with another pre-workout or pump supplement. Otherwise, you’ll want to take 2 scoops to experience a more intense pump.

Proccor RC-Pump Taste, Price, and Availability

Currently, RC-Pump is only available in Tangy Orange, and is sold at most online retailers for $35-$40. I like tart tasting pre-workouts, so this kind of orange was perfect for me. Proccor will definitely want to think about making an unflavored version, so RC-Pump is easier to stack with other products.

RC-Pump Final Thoughts

RC-Pump is a tart-tasting pre-workout that can be effective on its own, but should be combined with another pre-workout or pump product to experience its full effects, or to enhance the pump effect of your other supplements.

What’s more, the ingredients are transparently dosed, so you know exactly what you are getting. RC-Pump is moderately priced, carrying the same cost as similar pump products.
