In an industry suffused with spurious supplement claims, it was unsurprising to see, “gain up to 8.8 lbs. muscle and 147% more strength” prominently displayed on the front of MuscleMeds’ new pre-workout NO-BULL XMT.

Understandably, if not forgivably, MuscleMeds is trying to set NO BULL apart from other pre-workouts like chard among spinach and kale at a farmers market. Fortunately, SuppNation is here with our no bull review on NO BULL XMT to help you decide whether this pre-workout is worth it.

Matrix’s Oh My!

MuscleMeds NO BULL XMT Reviews
While I prefer to see specific dosages listed, an ingredient matrix isn’t inherently bad or ineffective. I’ve used plenty of pre-workouts with proprietary blends and seen fantastic results from them. That being said, let’s take a look at the ingredients for an idea of what benefits you should expect when taking NO BULL XMT.

Not Nitric Oxide

Once I saw “NO” in the title, I mistakenly assumed this was a nitric oxide booster. But according to the MuscleMeds official website, it’s designed to improve muscle growth by increasing time under tension, allowing you to perform more reps.

One of the main ingredients in here is the Power-AMP Cre3-Beta-A Creatine Complex, which consists of Creatine monohydrate, magnesium creatine chelate, and creatine glucuronolactone.
Creatine is one of the most researched supplements, and proven to increase strength, lean mass, and improve overall body composition.

Another well-researched ingredient you’ll find in here is beta-alanine. This is an amino acid which helps saturate muscles with carnosine. This delays muscle fatigue and reduces the time it takes for your muscles to feel that burning sensation during a working set.

Mind of Matter

Additionally, you’re going to find a few ingredients in here to give you focus and concentration in the gym, which helps increase intensity and strengthens mind-muscle connections, an important and often overlooked aspect of muscle building.

The combination of ingredients like mucuna pruriens, huperzine-a, caffeine, and DL-phenylalanine increases levels of neurotransmitters such as norepinephrine and dopamine. This boosts mental alertness, concentration, and elevates mood.

Deca Drive Delivery Technology

Training Intensity
One of the things that really interested me about NO BULL is the Deca Drive Delivery Technology. This delivery method uses compounds such as polyethylene glycol and sodium caprate to enhance ingredient digestion and absorption, as well as uptake into the muscle.

Grabbing NO BULL By the Horns

I used NO BULL XMT consistently for a couple weeks to make sure I could see how it affected my workouts for each muscle group. It definitely helped give me that sort of tunnel vision at the gym, where I felt focus and locked into my workout.

I also had a subtle strength increase. So even though I wasn’t shattering personal records all over the place, I felt like I was stronger and denser. Overall, I was lifting about 10-15 pounds heavier on all my exercises.

As far as flavor and mixability, I used the lemon ice flavor and thought it both mixed and tasted fine. The lemon flavor wasn’t too tart or sweet, it just had a generic lemon taste. If you’re buying NO BULL XMT online, most retailers carry it for around $33-45.

Should You Buy NO BULL XMT?

Ultimately, I think NO BULL XMT is a great pre-workout if you’re looking to increase strength and concentration. The only downside is I was unable to find the amount of caffeine it contains. So just start off with 1 scoop or less to assess your tolerance.

By pairing NO BULL XMT with a stimulant free pump product that boosts nitric oxide levels, you’ll get the best of everything─ a better pump, more strength, and better concentration.
