The wait is finally over, and Gaspari’s SuperPump 3.0 is now available to the general public. Gaspari’s SuperPump will always hold a special place in my heart, as it was one of the first pre-workouts I ever tried. After hearing all the hype about its arginine silicate ingredient, I was excited to try it out.

What’s New in SuperPump 3.0?

Out of all the ingredients featured in SuperPump 3.0, the most anticipated and talked about is the arginine silicate. Arginine silicate is formed by combining inositol and silicon to the arginine molecule, which enhances arginine absorption and blood flow.

The nice thing about having silicon in here is it will also support cardiovascular healthy by fortifying arterial wall strength.

I was also really glad Gaspari added agmatine sulfate to its formula. Agmatine gives me monster pumps, and is easily my favorite pre-workout ingredient right now.

Agmatine is an arginine derivative which works anaerobically, meaning without oxygen. This not only improves absorption and nitric oxide production, but is perfect for weightlifting since it requires little oxygen.

Working Out With SuperPump 3.0

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by SuperPump 3.0. I had a lot more vascularity, and the pump it gave me lasted the entire workout. I took it before chest day, and felt like I had a much better mind muscle connection thanks to the pump.

I was able to focus more on my using my chest to move the weight instead of relying so much on my shoulders.

If you look at the ingredient label you’ll notice it’s dosed effectively. If you use a full 2 scoops you get an entire gram of agmatine sulfate and arginine silicate, 5 grams of creatine monohydrate and over 3 grams of beta alanine.

Each serving has 200 mg of caffeine, so I ended up using about a scoop and a half. As someone who’s not very sensitive to caffeine, that ended up being the perfect amount for me.

As far as taste and mixability go, I had the watermelon flavor and thought it tasted great. I tried mixing it with a shaker cup and in a glass by itself with just a spoon and it mixed fine both ways. Only a few bits of unstirred powder sat in the bottom, but that’s normal for just about every pre-workout I’ve tried.

Is SuperPump 3.0 Right For You?

I would definitely recommend SuperPump 3.0 to anyone looking for an effectively dosed pre-workout. I’ve had some fantastic chest and arm workouts from it already, and I’m excited to keep using it. It’s given me some killer pumps, and easily lives up to the hype.
