I’m surprised it’s taken as long as it has for a major supplement company to come out with something like PUREDGE Daily Energy. Regardless of how you feel about artificial sweeteners, there is still a large enough contingent clamoring for completely natural supplements.

As part of their new PUREDGE line, Daily Energy is an all-natural energy supplement that can be used as either a pre-workout, or something to give you a little bit more energy throughout the day.

Naturally Enhance Performance

Some of the more well-known and researched ingredients you’re going to find in here include beta-alanine, rhodiola rosea, and choline bitartrate.

Beta-alanine is an amino acid which combines in the body with the amino acid histidine to increase muscle carnosine levels. This extra carnosine reduces muscle ph and helps buffer lactic acid buildup, delaying muscle fatigue and allowing you to get more reps.[1]

The rhodiola rosea is actually going to work synergistically with choline bitartrate to reduce mental fatigue, improve concentration, and accelerate ATP replenishment for more energy.[2]

A Potent Pump

To help increase nitric oxide production for better blood flow and muscle pumps there’s a combination of grape seed extract, beet root powder, and watermelon fruit rind extract. Grape seed is a powerful antioxidant, and helps reduce oxidative damage from exercise.

Watermelon fruit rind contains the amino acid citrulline, a common ingredient found in nitric oxide supplements. By flushing more blood an nutrients into the muscle you’ll have more strength and a speedier recovery in between workouts.

GNC PUREDGE Daily Energy Side Effects

The caffeine in here is pretty minimal, each serving only has about 54 g. Depending on how sensitive you are to caffeine though, taking Daily Energy in the afternoon might cause sleeplessness or anxiety.

You might also feel a tingling sensation in your skin from the beta alanine. This is a normal reaction called paresthesia, and isn’t harmful. If used consistently, the tingling effect from beta alanine diminishes and ultimately disappears.

Functional Flavor and Availability

Personally, I really enjoyed the cherry limeade flavor. In addition to the natural sweetener stevia, there’s tart cherry powder and natural cherry flavor that help boost the flavor profile.
If you’re looking to buy Daily Energy online, plan to spend anywhere between $35-45. Each container holds 30 servings.

Give Us This Day Our Daily Energy

Even if you’re not exclusively looking for an all-natural pre-workout, there are going to be some solid ingredients in here to give you some extra energy and delay fatigue like beta alanine and rhodiola rosea.

The taste is way better than I expected for a supplement with stevia, and if you need some additional energy you can always add an extra scoop without getting too much caffeine.
