Betancourt Nutrition recently announced they’re adding a new stimulant-free nitric oxide product to their arsenal called PUMP’D. Although the product hasn’t officially launched, they’ve released a picture of their nutrition label showing specific ingredients and dosages.

Ostensibly, PUMP’D is going to be a non-stimulant based pre-workout. And as someone who lives for the pump during my workout, I’m anxiously awaiting this with the anticipation of a 3rd grader waiting for the recess bell.

Stimulant Stacking

One of the best things about non-stimulant products like PUMP’D is they can be stacked with almost any other pre-workout. Thanks to this versatility, you really do get the best of both worlds by stacking supplements together.

It’s nice to have caffeine and creatine for an extra burst of energy and strength during your workout, but these ingredients often come at the expense of ingredients that boost nitric oxide production.

What to Look Forward To

The first thing that caught my eye when checking out the nutrition label for PUMP’D was the full gram of glycerol. This is a pretty formidable amount of glycerol, and easily one of the highest concentrations I’ve seen in a pre-workout supplement.

Glycerol works as a plasma expander, increasing vascularity and enhancing muscle pumps. The glycerol combined with agmatine and norvaline is going to be an especially powerful combination.

Agmatine is an arginine derivative that utilizes the reverse nitric oxide pathway to enhance nitric oxide production. This pathway requires less oxygen and helps prevent the agmatine from being degraded.

Norvaline works synergistically with agmatine. It improves muscle pumps by inhibiting the arginase enzyme, which hinders arginine absorption.

After seeing this awesome norvaline/glycerol/agmatine combination, I definitely have pretty high expectations that I hope PUMP’D delivers on.

When Will PUMP’D Be Released?

As of right now, PUMP’D is purportedly expected to be launched sometime in the next month. Unfortunately, there is still no information on price and availability.

Be sure to check back here on Suppnation.com for an update on PUMP’D. I’ll let you know exactly what I felt during my workout on PUMP’D and have everything you need to know about taste, price, and mixability.
