IsoFlex is the advanced whey protein isolate supplement from AllMax Nutrition, the company that brought us supplements like QuickMass and CarbIon (click to read those reviews). AllMax is a company that takes no shortcuts in product development.

AllMax is so confident with IsoFlex that they state it is the “best whey protein isolate on the market”. [1] In the last few days, I have had the chance to try and review some really good whey protein isolate supplements – ProSupps TC-F Isolate and BSN’s Syntha-6 Isolate. ProSupps has set the bar pretty high in regards to taste, quality and value. Let’s take a closer look at AllMax’s Isoflex and see how it compares to the other products out there.

What is IsoFlex?

IsoFlex is a protein powder that has been formulated with the highest quality blend of whey protein available – whey protein isolate. And it’s not just your ordinary whey protein isolate either. The whey protein isolate used in IsoFlex is extracted using a unique two-step process – cold temperature process (CTP) microfiltration and cross flow microfiltration (CFM).

Microfiltered whey isolate is the most un-denatured form of whey protein. It contains 90% high

er protein content than your standard whey and is virtually lactose, fat and cholesterol free.

One of the things that sets IsoFlex apart from the other whey protein isolate supplements I have reviewed are all of the flavor options you have, which I will discuss a bit later.

What Does IsoFlex Contain?

IsoFlex combines four proprietary delivery systems that work together to deliver a high-quality and great-tasting protein powder that’s been designed to help you reach your fitness goals. According to AllmaxNutrition.com, the four advanced delivery systems are:

1. WPI Complex [WPI Fortified™]

CTP (Cold Temperature Process), cross-flow microfiltered whey protein isolate, WPI (97% Whey Protein Isolate). This high quality whey protein isolate complex can help you reach your body-shaping goals.

2. NOS Complex (Ultra-Flow Delivery™)

This system contains arginine, taurine and folic acid. Designed to increase blood flow and increase nitrogen and whey peptide delivery. It can also boost nitric oxide levels, thereby speeding up recovery and protein delivery to muscle tissues.

3. Glutamine Complex (GLUTASURE TECHNOLOGY™)

This system contains naturally occurring glutamine peptides – 100% fermented source. Designed to improve recovery and provide immune support.

4. IS Complex [Rapid Absorption™]

Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA), d-Pinitol and 4-Hydroxylsoleucine. Designed to increase protein uptake and insulin support.

AllMax IsoFlex Serving Size and Flavors

AllMax IsoFlex is available in two different sizes and seven different flavors. There is Arctic Orange Milkshake, Banana Creme Supreme, Chocolate, Chocolate Mint Supreme, Peanut Butter Chocolate, Strawberry, and Vanilla. Each serving of AllMax IsoFlex contains 27 grams of active whey protein isolate, 0 grams of fat, 0 grams of sugar, and only 1 gram of carbohydrates.

You can buy these flavors in a 75 serving 5 pound container or a 30 serving 2 pound container. Each serving of AllMax IsoFlex will cost you anywhere from $1.15 to $1.30. This price per serving is right in the middle for a whey protein isolate suppelment. To give you a better comparison, last week I reviewed ProSupps TC-F Isolate which costs $0.80-$0.90 per serving. BUT ProSupps TC-F Isolate does not have all of the flavor options that IsoFlex offers.

AllMax IsoFlex Final Thoughts

I have never been disappointed with any supplement from Allmax Nutrition. I am excited to try IsoFlex. When it comes to protein supplements, I am pretty picky. I go to the label, check out the calories, fats, carbs and protein content. If it meets what I need for my fitness goals, then the next test is taste.

I have some IsoFlex Peanut Butter Chocolate on order from my distributor. When it comes in, I will come back and give you an update on its taste and mixability. I am REALLY excited. I love me some peanut butter and chocolate and if it tastes at all like Reese’s Pieces, like AllMax says, I will be a lifelong fan!

This is one man’s opinion. What really matters is how well AllMax IsoFlex works for all of you. Please use our form below to share what your experiences have been with AllMax IsoFlex. Please include other product(s) you have used, side effects, benefits, dosage, and let us all know if you think IsoFlex is a good value or not.
